दृष्टिः
अस्माकं ध्येयवाक्यम्
यस्तु सर्वाणि भूतानि आत्मन्येवानुपश्यति ।
सर्वभूतेषुचात्मानं ततो न विजुगुप्सते।ईशोपनिषद् - 6
उत्तरपूर्वभारते संस्कृतशिक्षायाः विकासः।
संस्कृतस्य गवेषणम्
प्राचीनसंस्कृतेः संरक्षणम्
राष्ट्रे एकता संवृद्धिनिमितं प्राचीनभारतीयशिक्षया सह अर्वाचीनविद्याशाखानामध्ययनम्।
राष्ट्रियसंहतिः, मानवसुरक्षा, प्रकृतिसुरक्षा देशभक्तिजागरणञ्च।
लक्षम् –
1. संस्कृतशास्त्राणां रक्षणार्थं प्रचारार्थं च विश्वविद्यालय पाठ्यक्रमस्य सुचारुतया अध्ययनम् अध्यापनञ्च। पूर्वमध्यमा-प्राकशास्त्री-शास्त्री-आचार्यकक्षाणां परिचालनम्।
2. शिक्षकाणां गुणवत्ताविकासाय प्रशिक्षणकार्यक्रम-स्वतन्त्रव्याख्यान-कार्यशालानामायोजनम्।
3. छात्राणां नेतृत्वगुणसम्बर्धनाय विभिन्नसमितीनां परिचालनं शैक्षणिकयात्रायोजनञ्च।
4. आधुनिकसमाजे संस्कृतस्य प्रचारार्थं संस्कृतमहोत्सव-श्लोकावृत्ति-गीताकण्ठपाठादीनामायोजनम्।
5. मणिपुरस्य सांस्कृतिकविकासाय संस्कृतभाषया लोकमहोत्सवायोजनम्।
6. अन्तर्विषयसंशोधनं विशेषतया संस्कृत-भाषाविज्ञान-दर्शन-आयुर्वेद-खगोलशास्त्र-योग-इत्यादिभिः क्षेत्रैः सह अर्वाचीनशास्त्राणां गवेषणम्। संयुक्तसंशोधनस्य सांस्कृतिकविनिमयकार्यक्रमस्य च कृते राष्ट्रिय-अन्तर्राष्ट्रियसंस्थाभिः सह सम्पर्कस्थापनम्।
7. नैतिकशिक्षाद्वारा उत्तमप्रजानिर्माणम्।
8. समाजेन सह संस्कृतशिक्षायाः संयोगः।
9. सरलमानकसंस्कृतसम्भाषणाय वर्गपरिचालनम्।
10. छात्राणां गुणवत्तावर्धनाय राष्ट्रियकार्यक्रमेषु अंशग्रहणम्।

Mission
1. Smooth study and teaching of university curriculum for preservation and promotion of Sanskrit scriptures. Conducting Pre-Intermediate, Pre-Scientific, Scientific and Teachers' classes.
2. Organizing training programmes, independent lectures and workshops for quality development of teachers.
3. Operating various committees and planning educational tours to enhance leadership qualities of students.
4. Organizing Sanskrit festivals, Shloka recitation, Gita recitation etc. for the promotion of Sanskrit in modern society.
5. Organizing folk festivals in Sanskrit for the cultural development of Manipur.
6. Interdisciplinary research, especially exploring ancient themes in the fields of Sanskrit, linguistics, philosophy, Ayurveda, astronomy and yoga. Establishing linkages with national and international organizations for joint research and cultural exchange programmes.
7. Building better subjects through moral education.
8. Linking Sanskrit education to society.
9. Classroom management for simple standard Sanskrit conversation.
10. Participation in national programmes for improving the quality of students.
